FOR Your BUSINESS AND YOUR FAMILY

Business Tax Returns
Marksman Tax & Consulting prepares business tax returns with a careful, detail-driven approach focused on accuracy, compliance, and clarity. Ryan works directly with business owners to understand how the business actually operates — not just what shows up on a form — so returns are prepared thoughtfully and correctly. This service is designed for businesses that want their taxes handled deliberately, not rushed or treated like a commodity. The goal is to file accurately, avoid surprises, and create a clean foundation for future planning.

This is a good fit if you:
-
Own or operate a small business
-
Want clear communication and defined scope
-
Prefer careful, conservative tax work over shortcuts
-
Value working directly with the person doing the work
TAX Consulting
Tax consulting is designed for business owners and individuals who want to look ahead, not just file and move on. This service supports informed decision-making throughout the year, helping clients understand how changes — in a business, income, or personal situation — may affect their tax position before those decisions are finalized. Marksman Tax & Consulting takes a conservative, practical approach to consulting, focused on reducing surprises, supporting long-term stability, and keeping tax decisions aligned with how finances actually function in real life.

This is a good fit if you:
-
Want proactive tax guidance, not just year-end filing
-
Are navigating changes in a business, income, or personal financial situation
-
Prefer thoughtful planning over aggressive strategies
-
Value clear communication and defined expectations
Individual Tax Preparation
Individual tax services are available for clients whose personal tax situation connects closely to their business or long-term financial picture. This includes business owners and individuals with more complex returns who want their taxes handled carefully and explained clearly. Marksman Tax & Consulting approaches individual returns with the same standards he applies to business work: accuracy, transparency, and attention to detail — not volume filing or rushed preparation.

This is a good fit if you:
-
Are a business owner filing a personal return alongside your business
-
Have a more complex tax situation
-
Want direct access and clear explanations
-
Prefer steady, professional handling over high-volume prep

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ's)
FAQ: How does working virtually actually work?
I work with clients remotely using secure, modern systems for document sharing, communication, and collaboration. This allows me to serve clients efficiently without requiring in-person meetings, while still providing direct access and responsive support throughout the process.
FAQ: How is pricing handled?
Pricing is discussed upfront before work begins. Each engagement has a defined scope so clients know what’s included and what to expect before moving forward. Clients will be clearly communicated with should complexity of the return change before any additional work is completed.
FAQ: What happens if additional work is needed?
If something comes up outside the original scope, I’ll discuss it with you before any additional work is done. No extra work — and no additional charges — are incurred without prior communication and agreement.
FAQ: Do you ever charge for quick questions or emails?
I don’t charge for brief questions or routine communication related to ongoing work. If a request requires additional analysis or falls outside the agreed scope, that will be discussed in advance. All tax preparation services have a standard one hour meeting built into the pricing.
FAQ: Why do some virtual tax services advertise lower prices?
Lower advertised prices don’t always reflect the full cost of service. In many cases, pricing isn’t fully transparent upfront, and additional charges are added as work progresses or once the return is complete. Some virtual services are structured around standardized workflows or volume-based models, where scope and communication may be limited. Marksman is structured differently. Pricing is discussed in advance, scope is clearly defined, and any additional work is communicated before it’s done — so clients aren’t surprised by the final invoice.
